SAD NEWS - Please join me in remembering YET ANOTHER great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Dough Boy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71. Dough Boy is survived by his wife Play Dough, three children, John Dough, Jane Dough, and Dosey Dough, plus they had one in the Oven. Services were held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

A friend inspired an huge "AHa" moment for me today. What is fear? SOmetimes fear makes something "tiny" look huge. You feel you cannot find your way around it, but when you actually "TRY" to move past the fear, it's just a wee pebble on the pathway of life...one that's reflected in those "crazy carnival mirrors" that distorts your view.
(an my comment to the above)
Lisa Anne Kelley Peter I think I now know why I fear the mirror. It is this "fear" that makes tiny o me look "huge". same type of fear I have for the bathroom scales. too. This "fear makes me do weird things too like emotional and mental roller coastering. I am generally fine with who and what I am until I try to conquer these "fears" and it is mostly then that I resolve to "diet" and do good, but those do good emotions really have an adverse reaction, because then I have to go comfort those feelings with a huge slice of chololate cake or a reese cup. :>

They have no sinner friends. They are strong on outward devotion to God. They know the written word well. They meet every week. They are separated from the world. They have no power, No miracles, no anointing! Just form. Who am I speaking of the Pharisees of course, who did you think I was talking about?

"Now that everyone has told U about the dangers of drugs, I'd like 2 tell U @ some benefits. Just imagine yourself unconscience, making a visit 2 the ER, weeks in rehab, nites in overcrowded prisons, spending more $$ than U can afford, ruining your health, hurting your parents, losing loved ones. Most of all destroying yourself. Now remember what I say @ doing drugs. I think you can say 'no'." -Bill Cosby

interesting post from BooksAMillion
Did you know that according to biographers, Albert Einstein (born on this day in 1879) barely spoke at all until he was almost 4 years old? This often misdiagnosed phenomena of late-talking children who are actually normal or even gifted, is now being described as “The Einstein Syndrome”. Thomas Sowell’s “The Einstein Syndrome: Bright Children Who Talk Late” is a fascinating exploration of this segment of quietly brilliant kids. http://bit.ly/fHRkVO

Went on outreach this morning, and was amazed at some signs/doormats that I saw on just one street. The first one said, "If your not selling chocolate get the ***off my porch," the second one said, "No Soliciting! Go Away!" and the third said, "There is no place like home, Go There!" I found it to be humorous. Outreach is definitely a fun time!

This is right up my alley. I feel the same and do as much.
from a blog that Debbie Anderson reads and posted from.
I've always felt that ministry is simply loving people with the gifts and abilities God has given us. No church building or ministry-coordinator-approval required. Loving children by caring for them, loving husbands and wives by serving and partnering with them, loving friends by listening...all these things are ministry. It is Christ living in us and touching people with our skin, speaking to them with our voice and our words, serving them with our hands and feet.
Your letters, sent from one house to another, are ministry too. It is a gift of time and love to write words, to respond to another's heart and mind. Your letters matter. Next time you get out that pen and paper, take a moment to pray over your words. Include something that you know will bless and encourage. Send that letter off with all the peace and joy you can find. Your hour of writing will become work done unto the Lord and true ministry. The loved one on the other end will know it and be blessed.

"Dreams are always crushing when they don't come true. But it's the simple dreams that are often the most painful because they seem so personal, so reasonable, so attainable. You're always close enough to touch, but never quite close enough to hold and it's enough to break your heart." - Nicholas Sparks
Dear IRS
Dear IRS..... One thing is for certain - you make it easy to file taxes for an Etsy and Ebay shop that has made absolutly NO Sales in 2010. :> guess that is the bright side of a bad situation. However, IRS doesn't compensate for the fees I have paid to Etsy and Ebay. Can I file for a Tax refund? - What about the time invested in all my labors. Can I file for unemployment if no one purchases my stuff?

I know the emotional battle of some, I know the hurt of others, I know the pain of separation, and the conflict of loneliness.... but through it all comes the beauty and strength, the molding, the perfection, the trust, the valor, the victory. - TYJ

Prayer for God to bless and anoint my lessons.
Star Of Song Studios
Lord, I pray that You will bless all of my music lesson students, their parents and their families. For each one who practices diligently and the songs of Zion bless You from the corridors of their homes. That Your Name will be lifted up and exalted and that Your presence will be alive and very real. That the Hymns will become an integral part of their lives and will be a substaining factor in their future. Amen
